Occupational Therapy Consult Session

Brooke is a Northwest Kansas native and graduated from Fort Hays State University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and minor in Psychology. She obtained her Master of Occupational Therapy degree from the University of Kansas Medical Center, where her clinical experiences consisted of multiple different pediatric settings. Brooke now has 5 years of experience working at an outpatient clinic in Kansas City, and is committed to understanding the intricacies of development and the impact of environmental factors on progress. She completed an Advanced Mentorship in evaluating and treating children with Sensory Processing Disorder, Autism Specialist Training, and has specialized SOS feeding training. 

Brooke is a passionate advocate for children and has dedicated her career to supporting families in their journey towards achieving optimal functional abilities. With extensive experience in pediatric occupational therapy, Brooke has recognized a crucial gap in services, particularly in the transition from clinical treatment to home generalization.

In her role as a an OT Consultant, Brooke supports families navigating the complexities of their child's development & daily challenges. She collaborates closely with caregivers to devise individualized, evidence-based strategies tailored to each child's specific needs. Brooke's approach is characterized by empathy, empowerment, and a deep appreciation for the unique strengths of every child.
